In general, all varieties of Pavona coral can be placed in the middle or top of the tank. They need moderate to high light and moderate to strong flow. Regarded as an easy to keep sps.

Pavona corals typically form encrusting or plate-like colonies. The colonies can also develop into irregular, leafy, or laminar shapes. The polyps of Pavona corals are small and often inconspicuous compared to some other coral species.
